Casey Martin Pulls Hole shot and Podiums Again on his Factory Polaris Rath Outlaw 450 MXR

Minneapolis, MN (08/17/09) Factory Polaris Rath Duro rider Casey Martin had one goal when he joined the team a short few months ago, get to the front and put the Polaris Outlaw 450MXR on the podium. After a hard charge in moto one and a dramatic finish in moto two he did just that, not only earning him a podium finish, but doing so on a new machine after a midyear switch.

June 1, 2009 -Casey Martin officially threw his leg over his new factory-backed Polaris/Rath/Duro Team Outlaw 450MXR this past weekend, at the Steel City AMA MX National Event. Martin accepted the challenge of competing in a premier class on a new machine with determination, as he had only a few days to prepare for the race.

 April 9, 2009 Hutchinson MN - When Polaris decided they wanted to go racing, it was agreed to go racing! On any given weekend, you will find the Polaris/Rath team successfully tearing up multiple race tracks, in multiple locations.  This past weekend was spent racing the GNCC in South Carolina, the ATVA MX National in Kentucky, and the Southern ATVA TT in North Carolina.

Hutchinson MN November 10, 2008 Eight miles of mud, hills, trees, rock piles and obstacles, to be ran at a grueling pace for 10 solid hours, no breaks, no rest, no time outs with half the race to be completed in the dark. Calling this race a challenge seemed like an understatement.

Daryl Rath wins both Pro Class and the 25+ Class piloting his new Polaris Outlaw 525 for the first time.

The Factory Polaris/Rath/Dunlop Team headed from Minnesota to another well-known winter haven, Snowshoe Mountain, last weekend to compete in the Round 10 GNCC Cross Country event. This may be a ski resort but last weekend it turned into an ATV Wonderland as the competitors, teams and fans made the way up the mountain for some spectacular views and some amazing racing. With asphalt starts and ski lift viewing it was a beautiful thing!

We've heard more than one conversation that involved the question of ATV aftermarket companies taking advantage of professional ATV racers.
With that, we decided to throw ten questions in front of a few professional riders and aftermarket people in the ATV industry. Here's what Rath Racing's, Daryl Rath had to say...

Minneapolis, Aug. 5, 2008-Nine days ago, Polaris Dealers got a look at the brand new and 2009 Sportsman 850 XP in Las Vegas, Nevada. The question was asked is it truly as good as it looked? Daryl Rath wanted to answer that question with a podium finish and he did! Straight from the bright lights of Vegas to a cross country track in Iowa, Rath put the machine to work and raced a two hour cross country endurance race. The IATVHSS Series event was held at Decatur City, Iowa, on Aug 3.

The 2008 season is quickly becoming a memorable year as the Polaris/Rath relationship is off and racing.

Hutchinson, August 30, 2008 Polaris/Rath team is excited about the addition of Mitch Reynolds to join the team and race the New 2009 Outlaw 450MXR in the ATVA MX Nationals. Mitch made his debut both with the team and in the AMA Pro Ranks at Steel City PA. He will be busy training and gearing up for the 2009 season - stay tuned for updates.

Minneapolis, June 25, 2008 -Coming off a historical third place finish at the Spartan GNCC, the Polaris/Rath/Dunlop team followed up the effort with another podium finish at Yadkin Valley GNCC- Round 8. Rath finished third out of 11 entries in the Utility Open Class and 52nd overall. Rath's teammate Frank Batista finished eighth.

2008 season is going to be quite the year in racing history books. Polaris /Rath/Dunlop Rider Landon Hurst, No. 179, piloted his Polaris Outlaw 450MXR to a top ten finish in both the Pro Am Production class and  Pro Am Unlimited classes at the Red Bud MX National ATVA Race this past weekend.

Hutchinson MN October 13, 2008-Just in!! Landon Hurst piloted his Outlaw 450MXR to a 2nd place Pro finish at the Pismo Beach Race. This famous annual race is held at Oceania Dunes, Pismo Beach CA on October 12, 2008. The dunes are taken over as a two hour, seven mile course is laid out. Endurance riding in the sand puts both the rider and the machine through a work out. The sand gets rougher and rougher as it gets whooped out as the race goes on.

Rath Racing has been one of the few companies spending development time on Polaris Outlaw A-arms. We knew it was going to take more than just build a set that "fits" we wanted a set that works.
